Shri Ahilyabai Holkar (1725-1795)

She was the stepdaughter of Mahal Rao Holkar and Noble sardar of the Maratha Empire. Ahilyabai moved the seat of her kingdom, to Maheshwar on the Narmada River. Her greatest achievement was to rebuild the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Shiva in Varanasi.
