Nawab Mir Mahboob Ali Khan (1866 – 1911)
He was the Nizam of Hyderabad. This is his studio portrait dressed in his robes for the coronation durbar at Delhi, 1902. Hyderabad was the largest and most prosperous of all princely states in India. He devoted a whole wing of his palace to his wardrobe and would never wear the same dress twice.
